FIRST OUHS Sonography team to participate in the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) Sonoslam student competition

Congratulations to the 2024 Sonography seniors, Charli Bailey, Haley Landrith, Sydney McDowell, and Kassidy Sharp as the FIRST OUHS Sonography Team to participate in the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) Sonoslam student competition in Austin, TX.    Administration and faculty were thrilled with their performance and looking forward to future competitions!   Sonoslam is a multidisciplinary student competition that covers basic ultrasound physics, as well as anatomy, physiology, and pathology. It requires a combination of knowledge and scanning skills to compete with residents and sonographers from across the country.
