Interested in an Allied Health Career?
An allied health career may just be for you! One of the most helpful things you can do to aid you in your decision of a health career is to job shadow a health professional in the field you are considering. If one of our graduates working in the field listed on our website is not available for you to job shadow, we recommend calling a local facility that employs the profession you are considering and ask to speak to that professional on staff. Then, ask if they will allow you to come in and job shadow to help you make your decision on which health profession is best for you.

Other factors may be considered such as references, standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, interview, etc.
Our calculation of your science GPA includes the hard-core animal and human science courses completed such as biology, human anatomy, human physiology, physics, chemistry, etc. Our science GPA will not include courses such as the various health and exercise science courses, earth science, physical science, botany, astronomy, ecology, evolution, etc. Please click here to review an extensive list of which courses will and will not calculate into your science GPA for admission purposes. If you have questions about which courses may or may not be included in your science GPA, please email us or call us at (405) 271-6588.
