Dr. Joseph J. Ferretti, Senior Vice President and Provost Emeritus at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Professor Martha (Marti) J. Ferretti,  Chairman of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, contributed funds in 2010 for the naming of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences Suite.

In honor of Marti’s retirement an engraved plaque was placed in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences reception area to commemorate her vision, leadership, research, and legacy of excellence for over 40 years. A celebration event was held on July 26, 2016 to unveil the new plaque in her honor and celebrate Professor Emeritus Marti Ferretti’s many accomplishments.
