College of Allied Health New Student Instructions

Welcome, New Students!

We hope you are looking forward to participating in our carefully planned on-site Orientation 2020 event on Wednesday, August 19, designed to provide new students with resources and tools to facilitate success in a rigorous educational program.  The OUHSC College of Allied Health is committed to your safe experience at Orientation 2020 and beyond by supporting the University of Oklahoma policies to retain social distancing (6 feet) from other individuals and the mandatory wearing of masks while in campus facilities including classrooms. Please note students are asked to be extra mindful of social distancing while eating or drinking.

A mandatory step in attending Orientation 2020 is to complete the COVID-19 Screening & Reporting Tool anytime during August 11-13, 2020.  The Tool must be submitted during this timeline for your successful clearance from Student & Employee Health to attend on-site Orientation 2020.  Students will be notified via the University email of their screening results and provided additional instruction.

In addition, as a new student you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with the current COVID-19 University guidance regarding screening and reporting responsibilities. If you have any questions regarding COVID-19 resources and planning, please call HSC Student Affairs at (405) 271-2416 or email students@ouhsc.edu or OU-Tulsa Student Affairs at (918) 660-3100 or email TulsaSA@ou.edu.  For any other questions, please contact the College of Allied Health at (405) 271-6588 or email alliedhealth-info@ouhsc.edu.

We will see you soon on Wednesday, August 19!
