Our occupational therapy faculty can assess both cognition and functional cognition. We would define tests for cognition to be pen and paper or computerized tests that probe for strengths and impairments in cognitive processes such as attention, memory, and problem-solving. Depending on your needs, we can direct you to tests useful for your study. We do not deliver neuropsychiatric batteries which are handled more appropriately by neuropsychologists. Functional cognition is defined as how you use your cognitive skills within a functional activity.
