Nutritional Sciences White Coat Ceremony

The Department held its inaugural white coat ceremony for second-year CPMA students on Friday, January 18, in the Allied Health Building.  The white coat ceremony is an event where students put on their white coat to celebrate that students have completed their coursework in the dietetics program and will begin their practicums in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and management.  The keynote speaker for the ceremony was Stephanie DeBerry, RDN, research dietitian with the Oklahoma Nutrition Information Exchange in the College of Public Health.  Dr. Leah Hoffman, Assistant Professor and Program Director of the CPMA, administered the Oath.  Family and friends attended.
