College of Allied Health Celebrates Program Accreditations and Reaccreditations

The College of Allied Health is proud to announce the accreditation and reaccreditation of several of its esteemed programs, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and student success. Accreditation ensures that programs meet rigorous educational standards, making them a top choice for prospective students aiming for successful careers in healthcare.
Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences:
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (Undergraduate) – Accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs until 2026.
- Radiation Therapy (Undergraduate) – Accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology until 2026.
- Radiography (Undergraduate) – Accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology until 2027.
- Sonography (Undergraduate) – Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) until 2035.
- Radiation Sciences (Undergraduate) – Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) until 2026.
Nutritional Sciences:
- Coordinated Program – Accredited through December 31, 2027 (Master of Arts degree).
- Dietetic Internship – Accredited through December 31, 2027 (Master of Science and non-degree options available, including an ISPP Doctoral Degree track).
Communication Sciences and Disorders:
- The Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and Doctor of Audiology (AuD) programs recently underwent a reaccreditation site visit in September/October 2024. A final decision on their reaccreditation for another eight-year cycle is expected following the accrediting agency’s spring meeting this month.
Rehabilitation Sciences:
- Occupational Therapy (OT) – Accredited through 2031/2032.
- Physical Therapy (PT) – Awaiting accreditation decision in May 2025.
These achievements highlight the college’s dedication to providing high-quality education that meets industry standards and prepares students for successful careers. Accredited programs offer students a curriculum that is recognized and respected by employers and professional organizations, ensuring graduates are well-equipped for their fields.
