Michael Stout, Assistant Professor in Nutritional Sciences, Receives NIH and OCAST Grant

Michael Stout, PhD from the Department of Nutritional Sciences in the Colleges of Allied Health was recently awarded a $1.8 million R01 from the National Institutes of Health to study how cellular senescence and epigenetic remodeling promotes ovarian aging .
Dr. Stout also was recently awarded $135,000 from the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science & Technology to study how estrogen signaling in the hypothalamus of male mammals improves metabolic homeostasis.
