Mission Statement:

Student Advocates for Equity is a student-led organization committed to educating ourselves on allyship to prevent further propagation of medical inequities caused by discrimination and lack of education while also serving as a place for students to safely bring incidents of discrimination forward. Meetings are held every month via zoom and involve discussion of diversity and inclusion topics as they relate to the professions in allied health.  Previous meeting topics include anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ allyship, Indigenous inclusivity, weight bias, and more. We are passionate about increasing equity in our profession and look forward to you joining us in our mission!
