Bethany Williams, PhD student working under the mentorship of Dr. Susan Sisson, has received the Elwood Scholar Award from the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professionals.  As stated by the President of the Association in the award letter to Bethany, “The award was given to the most impressive candidate” and Bethany “was selected as this year’s sole recipient of the Elwood Scholar Award”.  There were many students nationally who were nominated by member institutions from across the United States; this is a very competitive award.  Congratulations to Bethany.
