FALL ORIENTATION: Tomorrow's Healthcare Leaders in CSD and Nutritional Sciences

The Fall 2023 orientation for the Communication and Sciences Disorders and Nutritional Sciences Department has been a success, setting the tone for the future of these healthcare professionals. This year’s orientation highlighted the importance of leadership values. Interim Nutritional Sciences Department Chair Katie Eliot’s presentation on the 5 Voices method left us inspired and motivated to embrace the journey ahead, and The Oklahoma Science Museum provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with fun experiences and valuable insights. The three-day orientation program was specifically designed to instill core leadership values and professionalism, ensuring that incoming Allied Health students embark on their academic journey as confident individuals to become exceptional CSD undergraduate students, Speech-language pathologists, Audiologists, and Dietitians.
