Dr. Jane Wilson appointed as Dean of the College of Allied Health

Dr. Jane Wilson was appointed as the new Dean of the College of Allied Health, contingent upon Board of Regents' approval, effective February 1, 2021.
Dr. Wilson’s career includes more than 25 years at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where she earned her Ph.D. in Allied Health in 2005. She is currently an Associate Dean in the College of Pharmacy and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy. She previously served as Clinical Coordinator and Associate Professor in the College of Dentistry.
Dr. Wilson is the recipient of numerous faculty and service awards, including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Innovations in Teaching Award, the Lawrence C. Weaver Transformational Community Service Award, an Edith Kinney Gaylord Presidential Professorship, and a Robert Magarian Faculty Award.
Dr. Wilson has extensive experience in leadership development and mentoring, as well as in student recruiting and retention. She was instrumental in establishing the College of Pharmacy’s Leadership Degree Option and its national Leadership Institute. Her complete biographical sketch is below.
