Celebrating Generosity: The University of Oklahoma's College of Allied Health Hosts Inaugural Scholarship Reception

Published: Wednesday, June 7, 2023

The University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health was excited to host over 60 scholarship donors, scholarship recipients and faculty at the first College of Allied Health Scholarship Reception on April 19, 2023. At the College of Allied Health, our students are at the center of everything we do. Scholarships provide critical support to these bright, deserving allied health students who go on to impact every aspect of the healthcare industry. The cost of attendance is significant, but the reward is so much greater – a career dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives, often when they need it most.

Launched in September 2022, Lead On: The University of Oklahoma’s Campaign for the Future is rooted in three foundational pillars: academic excellence for all, real-world impact and ensuring that OU is a place of learning and belonging for everyone. To equip our students for a lifetime of positively mpacting their communities and their profession, an OU education must remain world-class, and it must also be affordable and accessible to anyone with the will and talent to pursue it.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our donors, students and faculty, for your generosity and your commitment to the future of healthcare. Your contributions are an investment in the next generation of Rehabilitation Sciences, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Nutritional Sciences and Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences professionals, and they are helping ensure that our college remains at the forefront of healthcare education and research. If you are interested in learning more about contributing to or starting a scholarship at the OU College of Allied Health, please contact Lydia Chapman, Director of Development, at lydia-chapman@ouhsc.edu.
