Rehabilitation Sciences

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences is guided by our vision to prepare leaders in Rehabilitation Sciences who will boldly innovate practice, education and research. We offer two entry-level professional programs: the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) and the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Through integrated plans of study, we provide an interprofessional approach that allows students to learn collaboratively from expert faculty within the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences as well as from other programs in the College of Allied Health.

The Department is also home to the Lee Mitchener Tolbert Center for Developmental Disabilities, a distinguished Center of Excellence committed to research, education, and community outreach that improves the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

We invite you to explore our department and discover the transformative work taking place in education, research, and community service. Through the commitment of our students, faculty, and staff, we are advancing rehabilitation sciences and improving health and quality of life for the people of Oklahoma and beyond.
