The Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Applied Nutrition is a 12-credit, fully online program designed for healthcare professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of nutrition’s role in patient care. Whether you're a physician, nurse, pharmacist, physical therapist, or other health provider, this certificate equips you with evidence-based knowledge and practical skills to support better health outcomes.

The program consists of 12 hours of coursework, completed via four 8-week courses.  Students may take up to 2 courses per semester with each semester divided into two 8-week terms. Completion of the program is possible in 2 fully scheduled semesters.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Applied Nutrition program, applicants must have met the following requirements:

  • Have successfully completed a bachelor's or higher degree in a health profession, or by permission of the program director
  • A letter from the college indicating good academic good standing for those currently enrolled in a post-baccalaureate professional program
