Students Receive Awards through Alpha Eta National Honor Society

Congratulations to Gabriela Pineros and Jessica Huddleston for being selected to receive awards through the Alpha Eta National Honor Society.
Gabriela Pineros was selected to receive the 2022 Sydney D. Rodenberg Memorial Scholastic Scholarship for Outstanding Undergraduate Student. Gabriela graduated from the BS in Communication Sciences & Disorders program in Spring 2022 and is now enrolled in the MA in Speech-Language Pathology program. Her nomination letter praised her outstanding scholastic record, her service-learning experience, and her voluntary participation in meaningful research.
Jessica Huddleston was selected to receive the 2022 Lee Holder Award for Excellence in Graduate Allied Health Education. Jessica graduated from the Doctor of Audiology program in Spring 2022. She also graduated from the BS in Communication Sciences & Disorders program in Spring 2018. In her nomination letter, it was shared that she consistently demonstrated excellence in all endeavors and always went “above and beyond.”
Both of these amazing individuals will be recognized at the national Alpha Eta meeting on November 4th. Congratulations and thank you for your excellent representation of the College of Allied Health and your programs.
