Prepare leaders in Rehabilitation Sciences who will boldly innovate practice, education and research.

Mission

The mission of the OUHSC Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is to work collaboratively to optimize the abilities, performance, and participation of all through:

  1. Engaging in interprofessional education as leaders who use best evidence to shape the healthcare environment.
  2. Conducting, disseminating, and promoting visionary research and scholarly activities to advance the knowledge in the rehabilitation sciences and translate new knowledge into the best healthcare practices.
  3. Advocating to advance policies, practices, and healthcare management to promote health in society.
  4. Providing exceptional care to clients, clinicians, organizations, communities, and our University through our expertise in the rehabilitation sciences.
