The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences includes five undergraduate programs focused on the art of medical imaging and radiation therapy. This is an exciting time to work in these healthcare professions! Within our fields, we use some of the most advanced and sophisticated equipment, applying critical judgment to produce diagnostic images and ensure safe and effective therapeutic interventions. Our Department values its place within the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where our students and faculty engage in interprofessional activities to prepare for the current healthcare environment. Students and graduates collaborate with physicians such as radiologists, radiation oncologists, cardiologists, urologists, emergency medicine physicians, obstetricians/gynecologists, and family practice physicians.
