IACUC-approved CT scanning laboratory equipped with a GE Optima 32-slice scanner, 70-cm gantry bore, for collaborative team-based research and projects involving animal, fossil, cadaver or other nonliving human scanning.
A laboratory with 9 imaging stations equipped with top tier ultrasound systems, adjustable patient beds, and ergonomic work chairs. The IPS lab can be reserved for private educational or research activities. There is opportunity for interdisciplinary research or teaching that involves ultrasound scanning and/or point of care sonography training.
The Virtual Environment Radiotherapy Trainer (VERT) offers a simulated state of the art training system for students, patients and patient families to visualize, engage, and understand their radiation treatment. Opportunities exist with the VERT for collaboration of educational and clinical studies.
