Hearing Evaluation, Rehabilitation and Outcomes Laboratory (HERO)

The Hearing Evaluation, Rehabilitation, and Outcomes (HERO) Laboratory focuses on auditory (re)habilitation, specifically on the impact of audiologic interventions for sensorineural hearing loss on patient outcomes and health-related quality of life. A current focus is investigating how to increase accessibility of hearing healthcare to unserved and underserved populations in the state of Oklahoma. The HERO Lab provides community outreach through the United Way Hearing Aid Bank in the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center."
