We love to share the success of our alumni!   2019 OU Sonography Program Graduate, Syrenthia Tennyson, was recently accepted into the Mayo Clinic’s CAAHEP-accredited Advanced Cardiac Sonography Program in Rochester, MN.  

(From the Mayo Clinic ACS Program Website) The advanced cardiac sonography program is designed to create a career track for cardiac sonographers who practice at an advanced level in the echocardiography laboratory.  The ACS is a health care professional specially trained to use imaging technology to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.  An ACS prepares preliminary echo assessments and performs advanced echocardiograms, often taking on mentoring and educational roles and coordinating cardiac ultrasound research.
