OUHS Nuclear Medicine students present at the Annual Southwestern Chapter Society of Nuclear Medicine

Congratulations to the OUHS Nuclear Medicine students who successfully presented at the Annual Southwestern Chapter Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Meeting in Houston Texas, April 12 – 14. Nuclear medicine senior, Savannah Wagner won Best Overall Oral Presentation for her research “Impact of Count Variability to Gallbladder Ejection Fraction Results” and senior Victoria Mamedova’s abstract was accepted as a poster presentation titled “The Effects of Electromagnetic Interference on Nuclear Medicine Well Counter”. Nuclear medicine juniors, Kathryn McIntyre and Allie Dixon were the first OUHS Nuclear Medicine students to present continuing education Case Presentations during the conference. Allie presented “I-131 WBI Scan Post Treatment: Struma Ovarii” and Kathyrn presented “Charcot’s Arthropathy: The Use of Three Phase Bone Scans to Detect Diabetic Neuropathy”.
