New Legacy Scholarship Established to Honor Former for Nutritional Sciences Faculty and Staff

In conjunction with the OU-Texas game played in Dallas over the weekend at the Cotton Bowl, Nutritional Sciences alumna, Neva Cochran, MS, RDN, LD, FAND hosted a fundraising reception on Thursday night at her home for alumnae of the OU Nutritional Sciences Department. Dr. Allen Knehans, Dean of the College of Allied Health and Chair of the Nutritional Sciences Department, was there along with the Allied Health Development Director, Kyndall Wahkinney, to give an update on the department and announce the fundraising launch for a new endowed Legacy Scholarship in honor of all past chairs, faculty and staff of the department. It is with great pleasure that we announce that $10,000 was raised in one night toward our $50,000 goal for the scholarship!!
