Andrew John, PhD, has been named as Chairman of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr John has been a member of the faculty of the College of Allied Health since 2007 and has served as Interim Department Chairman since 2016.
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is home to more than 20 faculty and staff and more than 150 students. The Department offers the pre-professional Bachelor of Science degree in CSD, the Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology, the Doctor of Audiology, and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Students in these programs train to serve patients in Oklahoma and beyond in the John W Keys Speech and Hearing Clinic, a training clinic offering comprehensive services in speech, language, hearing and balance.
