Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to provide maximum flexibility to working adults in course completion. Students holding a credential in a medical imaging and radiation therapy profession, with prior work experience in the field, will be awarded up to 30 credit hours. 31 credit hours of coursework is given by the University of Oklahoma in a 100% online format.
- Total Required Programmatic Course Credits = 31 hours
- Elective Courses are offered through OU-Norman and/or OUHSC
- Additional credits that are awarded are based on prior credentialing, education, and experience = 30 hours
Curriculum Notes
* Student must take three of the four Principles courses that survey the professions outside their credential, including: radiography MIRS 3412, nuclear medicine MIRS 3432, radiation therapy MIRS 3452 and sonography MIRS 3802.
