Dr. Katerina Ntourou Receives OCAST Grant

Kat Ntourou, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, has been awarded $118,963 from the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology for her research proposal, Attentional bias to threat, social anxiety, and childhood stuttering. Dr Ntourou’s application was ranked fifth among all OCAST proposals submitted this cycle. These funds will support Dr Ntourou’s work to identify and explain psychosocial and cognitive factors that contribute to stuttering in children.
