  • President – Brain Injury Association of Oklahoma (2005-2008).
  • Oklahoma Legislative Councilor to the American Speech Language Hearing Association (2005-2008). 
  • Past President of the Oklahoma Academy of Medical Speech Language Pathologists and a two-time past President of the Oklahoma Speech Language Hearing Association. 
  • Director and Founder of Camp Sunrise, an outdoor retreat for adult survivors of traumatic brain injury, which began in 2000.

  • Awarded the Gwen Casey Award for Outstanding Clinical Service by the Oklahoma Speech Language Hearing Association (2001).
