Position Description:
The Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is responsible for visionary leadership, management, and administration of the program in collaboration with the Department Chair, Vice Chair, and other Program Directors.  The DPT Program Director will receive a multi-source evaluation annually by the Chair, program faculty, staff, and students in their program.

Experience:
Required: Minimum of 6 years in higher education and minimum of three years full time in PT education program.

  • Earned academic doctorate
  • PT license in OK or eligible for OK licensure

Position Description:
The Occupational Therapy Program Academic Assistant Director is responsible for day-to-day management and administration of the program in collaboration with the administrative Assistant Program Director, the Departmental Chair and DPT Program Director.

Sr. Researcher - Tenure-Eligible. Full Professor or Promotion-Eligible, 12-month appointment

Position Description: The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to its research mission.  Our Department houses four academic programs, including two professional programs, D.P.T., O.T.D., and two post-professional programs (Doctor of Science and Ph.D.). It is unique in that we provide both outstanding professional curricula and interprofessional courses co-developed and taught by P.T./O.T. faculty while also pursuing to advance our professions through scholarly scientific inquiry.  The Senior Researcher (see full position description and requirements in link below) will advance the Department’s research mission via their own line(s) of research as well as mentoring others in research and grantsmanship. The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center is home to seven health professional colleges offering a diverse community for students in the colleges of Allied Health, Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Public Health, as well as the Graduate College. Research collaborations are available through our National Cancer Institute-designated OUHealth Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Health Harold HammDiabetes Center, Oklahoma Center for Geroscience and HealthyBrain Aging, and the Oklahoma Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
