Who We Are:
The OUHSC College of Allied Health and a group of community leaders have purchased Lokomat® equipment to provide robot-assisted walking therapy to improve the mobility of many people who thought they would never walk again.  Only forty Lokomat® systems are available in the United States, the closest being in Dallas; there is not another one between Oklahoma and California.

We are now seeking additional support for the pediatric component of this equipment and are near completion of this fundraising effort.  In addition, we have received funding to add a virtual reality component to the equipment.

Who We Serve:
Having a Lokomat® at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center would still be a dream if not for the passion of community leaders and their generosity.  As one of the largest supporters of this project, you understand the impact this will have on our state.

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and the College of Allied Health are deeply grateful for your consideration of a gift for the pediatric enhancement to the Lokomat®.  Through your gifts, you will be advancing the education and professionalism of generations of health care providers and the health of the countless Oklahomans they will serve

What We Do:
Lokomat® helps people improve their ability to walk after a disability caused by brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke or neurological and orthopedic conditions.  The Lokomat® machine is already providing an extraordinary tool for teaching students and caring for patients.
