The topic of documentation, coding, and the legal obligations of practice in the Allied Health fields are imperative to consider. This presentation will highlight current changes in billing and coding and the legal obligations of practitioners.  The speaker will link the documentation to coding and how documentation can clearly supporting the services provided.

Speaker Bio:

 

Sally Eggleston has over 20 years’ experience in the business of cancer care working as a radiation therapist, a medical consultant, and a billing company executive. A nationally renowned speaker, and one of the nation’s leading experts in oncology billing, coding, compliance and reimbursement, she specializes in collaborating with research, development, and marketing teams to evaluate reimbursement opportunities based on potential new technology. She has been instrumental in the development of freestanding cancer facilities, from feasibility studies, through construction, to marketing of newly launched cancer center operations. Mrs. Eggleston will speak on the importance of documentation and billing practices as a key focus in today’s patient-centered healthcare space.
